Labour Relations Coordinator Job Open at SASSA Head Office

SASSA is looking for a Labour Relations Coordinator at its Head Office in Pretoria, with a permanent position that comes with a salary package of R466,365 to R511,863 per year, excluding benefits.

This role is all about keeping the workplace fair, compliant, and well-managed. As Labour Relations Coordinator, you’ll be dealing with:

  • Dispute resolutions, grievances and disciplinary cases
  • Advising managers and HR on labour-related matters
  • Assisting with collective bargaining processes
  • Helping roll out labour relations training across the agency

What You Need to Apply

SASSA isn’t just looking for anyone. Here’s what they expect from candidates:

  • A qualification at NQF Level 7 in Labour Relations, HR Management, or Law, recognised by SAQA
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in the labour relations field
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office etc.)
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Strong knowledge of the following:
    • Labour Relations Act
    • Basic Conditions of Employment Act
    • Employment Equity Act
    • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)

On top of that, you’ll need skills in policy interpretation, problem-solving, communication, planning, and managing stakeholders.
