The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is now accepting applications for the role of Senior Manager: Communication and Marketing in its Free State Regional Office. This is a permanent position offering a salary of R1,218,624 – R1,433,365 per annum (inclusive of benefits).
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced communicator who can drive media engagement, internal messaging, brand reputation, and high-level strategic campaigns across a vital government department.
Who Should Apply?

- Have a recognized undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) in a relevant field, verified by SAQA
- Have 5 years or more experience at middle or senior management level in communications and marketing
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Are computer literate
- Have successfully completed the SMS Pre-Entry Programme (Nyukela) from the National School of Government
- Are passionate about government communications, media strategy, and public engagement

- Providing leadership to an integrated communication team

- Driving performance, strategy, and innovation across the communication unit
